Discover How to Create A Library Living Room in 1/12 Scale.
You could use this to makeover a dollhouse living room or create a roombox.
A comfortable and homely library living room idea for a 1/12 scale room. Starting with a living room in real life for inspiration, we look at the miniature pieces you could use to recreate this library living room in your own dollhouse in 1/12 scale miniature.
We’ll start with the pieces of furniture in the room above Looking at the image above, the first thing to note is the large comfy sofa on the left side.
Three cushions are casually arranged on the sofa.
Two equally comfortable looking armchairs can be seen on the right hand side of the picture.
There’s a big rectangular walnut coffee table in the middle.
And a round lamp table between the armchairs
At the end of the room are two wooden chairs
And the library bookcases of course!
And the shelves are filled with old fashioned books.
In a dollhouse (unlike a real house), you can just add a fireplace.
And then add a miniature log fire!
Place some fireplace tools alongside.

On the mantelpiece, are two sculptures. You’re not likely to find ones that match, so go with what works for you. We found this ‘marble’ statue.
