Dollhouse kitchen canisters
Pretty little cream and blue kitchen canisters. I made these canisters to the same style and scale of the canisters that were used everyday in my grandmother’s wonderful kitchen. Her kitchen was the hub of the house, literally in the centre of the house and where everything happened. The canisters took pride of place on top of the tall kitchen cabinet. They still live in the same place on the cabinet, but my grandmother’s kitchen has long gone and the cabinet sits in my mother’s house.
These canisters are very sturdy, and are made of paper, with removable lids. The inside of the canisters appears to be tin, as were my grandmother’s original set. They are made to the same scale as her canisters.
